We woke up E-A-R-L-Y on Saturday morning (I was UP most of the night with Avery so I was exhausted, but super excited!) and got the girls up and dressed and headed to the airport
This happened to be Avery's first ride in an airplane..and she tried to be real excited about it! (Remember that her throat was COVERED in blisters and she had 102*fever :(
We made it fine on the plane and boarded the bus to our hotel
We were pulling into the parking lot of our hotel
and looked up in the sky and noticed there was a sky writer reminding us that although our trip hadn't started like we planned, God was with us and that makes us SMILE
After checking into the hotel the girls spotted the gift store and made a beeline for it...
and then it was time to check out our home away from home for the week...The girls and I were having fun, just being silly, while daddy went to go get our stroller that we rented for the week from Orlando Stroller Rentals (the BEST decision we made...FOR REAL!)
We had no real plans for the first night (and I am so glad since Avery was a little under the weather) so we decided to hop on a bus and head on over to Downtown Disney...Lots of shops, lots of people, and lots of fun...
until Avery decided that she'd had enough...and then we knew Day 1 was over and we headed back to the hotel
(can you tell that she was D-O-N-E!!)
we were quick to get into bed, so that we would be well rested, for what proved to be another day of crazy adventures...not ALL of them were so good!)
